Empowering Everyday Women Ministries, the 501c3 nonprofit organization I lead, recently rolled out a new website at EmpoweringEverydayWomen.org. I am thankful for the hard work of my dedicated team, especially the way they have carried on in my absence.

To protect the web servers from being attacked, my tech team installed firewall protection. A firewall is simply a program or hardware device that filters the information that comes through the Internet connection into our private network. If anything incoming is flagged, meaning identified as a threat by the filters, it is not allowed to get through. It gets blocked. That way, our system is shielded from the infiltration of anything harmful and malicious that could potentially shut the system down.

Scripture informs us that we have spiritual firewall protection in Isaiah 54:17, which says, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper.” Satan’s weapons are formed, but God stops them from infiltrating and succeeding to accomplish the enemy’s plan.

In Acts 19:24-41, Demetrius the silversmith led a campaign of rebellion against Paul and the Christians, because through Paul’s ministry, people were coming to faith in Christ and abandoning the worship of idols. This widespread revival was bad for Demetrius’s business. He sold replicas of the temple of the false goddess Artemis, and he was panicking over the prospect of losing all those sales.

Scripture tells us Demetrius led a revolt against Paul’s ministry but was summarily shut down. The ministry of Paul, however, carried on, because God was with him.

Just as Demetrius’s campaign against Paul didn’t work, the enemy’s campaign against you won’t work either. You’ve got firewall protection, and Satan is not authorized to bombard your life and have his way. God flags and blocks his malicious attacks. Granted, there are some challenges that God won’t filter out, because those things make you better, stronger, and they force you to exercise your faith.

Thank God for what He blocks and allows. After all, He knows what He’s doing.

But make no mistake: there is divine covering, protection, and favor over your life. Isaiah 8:10 further makes you aware of your spiritual firewall protection. It says, “Devise a plan, but it will be thwarted; State a proposal, but it will not stand, For God is with us."

When the enemy comes against your destiny, he gets flagged and blocked. When the enemy comes against your family, he gets flagged and blocked. When the enemy comes against your health, he gets flagged and blocked. When the enemy comes against your breakthrough, he gets flagged and blocked. When the enemy comes against your mind and emotions, he gets flagged and blocked.

Whatever does get through the divine filter, even if it is uncomfortable, is being used to further shape and refine you. If God chose not to filter out this latest assault on your faith, family, finances, health, or stability, you can be confident that it is working for you and not against you.

What is it that has gotten through the divine filter in this season of your life? What hasn’t God flagged and blocked? Whatever it is, God sent this word to confirm that He is using it to get glory and position you for greater. It may be temporarily slowing you down, setting you back, and frustrating you, but it won’t destroy you. Again, the weapon won’t prosper, because God fights for you.

To remind you of this truth, I’m stirring a portion of 2 Chronicles 20:17 NLT into your cup of inspiration, which says, “But you will not even need to fight. Take your positions; then stand still and watch the LORD’s victory.”

As you drink down the contents of your cup, remember, God is doing all the flagging, fighting, and blocking on your behalf. All He requires is your faith to secure the victory.

Now let’s pray.

God, thank You for fighting for me, protecting me, and working for me. I praise You for blocking the attack of the enemy that came to destroy me. I am even grateful for the trouble You allow, because I know it is working for me and accomplishing Your perfect will in me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you desire prayer, please allow me, along with my intercessory prayer team, to stand in faith with you for breakthrough. We would be so honored. We have seen God work over and over again. There is power in agreement. Click here to request prayer now.

As always, thanks for reading and until next time... may today's cup of inspiration uplift, encourage, and empower you!
