I'm so very excited today. It's a really special day of the year. The headline of this email already gave it away: It's #GivingTuesday!

If you know me well, you know I LOVE to bless others. It's one of my absolute favorite things. I hope you will join me in being a blessing today.

During my time of devotion this morning, I read this Scripture which I believe God led me to. It says:

"For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore I command you, ‘You shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy and to the poor, in your land.’" (Deuteronomy 15:11 ESV)

How fitting this verse is for #GivingTuesday! One line from the passage really stuck out for me: "Open wide your hand."

When you open wide your hand to be a blessing, while your hand is open, God will also release blessings into your hand. There is a reciprocal relationship between sowing and reaping, giving and receiving. The word of the Lord says in Proverbs 11:25, "The liberal soul will be made fat."

That's a promise!

I truly believe that I have been so blessed in my life because I give to others. Even when I have been at my lowest, I have made sacrifices for the Kingdom of God and continue to do so to this day.

Will you join me in obedience to God and open wide your hand to those in need?

A few years ago, a precious member of our faith community named Ar'trice did not know Christ, but she learned about Him when she was on the receiving end of humanitarian aid from our 501c3 nonprofit organization. Ar'trice said, "I had ruined my life with bad decisions and drug addiction, and I desperately needed assistance to get on my feet."

Well, by the grace of God, Ar'trice got connected to Empowering Everyday Women through a drug treatment program and is now saved through the gospel of hope! She has been following the ministry and growing in her faith. That alone is a reason to celebrate, but the story doesn't end there.

In honor of #GivingTuesday, Ar'trice has shown her gratitude for what God has done by giving a generous donation to help others get on their feet and help this ministry continue to get humanitarian aid to those who need it most.

How amazing is that?

Our ministry receives countless powerful testimonies like this which remind us of the impact of the gospel and the importance of sowing seeds into the lives of the distressed, needy, hurting, and broken around the world.

Friend, God certainly uses your generosity to carry out His will. Will you let God speak to your heart today and tell you what to sow?

I need you to join with us in sowing the most generous tax-deductible seed you can give to our 501c3 nonprofit on this #GivingTuesday that only comes once a year.

Whether you give $5, $10, $20, $100 or more, whatever you do, you will be helping us:

  • Reach more souls with the gospel of Jesus Christ

  • Get food and clean water to under-served children and families

  • Distribute free Bibles and Christian resources

  • Provide free literacy education and training

  • Give clothing and shelter to the homeless

When you give your tax-deductible seed at EmpoweringEverydayWomen.org, I know that God will reward you.

I am praying the blessing of Luke 6:38 over every giver and asking that God will return it back to you in good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over. May His most bountiful blessings fall into your lap!

I am believing God to make this our biggest year of giving ever.

Will you sow?
