“So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed” (John 8:36 NIV).

You may feel locked up, bound, restricted, and restrained in some areas of your life. Everything in you is screaming to get loose and break free. You wonder in your silent moments, Lord, how long before I get my release?

Well, God is sending this word to assure you that whatever is in the way of you and your destiny must move. Whatever is holding you back must get out of the way. Whatever it looks like today, friend, you are about to step into your freedom. Don’t worry. Just keep on trusting God!

A young woman named Kendra touched my heart with a comment she posted on a video that I was featured in five years ago. The footage was from March 2017, the day after my healing service, where God performed an awesome miracle in my body.

Prior to receiving the comment that drew me to the footage, I had forgotten about the video. In the throwback recording, originally live streamed by a family member, I was sitting at the kitchen table at my parents’ house weeping with joy.

We talked about how my husband, Kenya, carried me into the sanctuary, since I was unable to walk at the time. My body was racked with pain, and my face was soaked with tears. But that night, God spontaneously cured me of severe Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia.

It didn’t matter how I came into the church building; I ran out of there pain-free and disease-free despite doctors saying there was no hope for my recovery. This past March marked the five-year anniversary of my healing, and those debilitating diseases never returned.

Oh, glory to the great name of our God!

In the comment section of the video capturing the emotional and triumphant moment, Kendra—who said she is reading God Did It, my book about the miracle—shared her own diagnosis of Seronegative Rheumatoid Arthritis. She just so happened to get sick in 2016, the same year I first began struggling.

Kendra, who was 21 and in nursing school at the time that she fell ill, said, “It was so sudden. No family history. My blood shows no markers of autoimmune disease.”

Yet, she had to get hip replacement surgery a few years ago. Then, just two months ago, doctors suggested knee replacements—news that discouraged her greatly.

“I was down and just needed to hear [about] a miracle from someone struggling like me,” said Kendra. So, she did a google search and came across my testimony.

I know the Lord sent her.

Before ending her comment, Kendra said something that caught my attention: “I pray and believe that I will be able to share my testimony of healing and restoration with others one day soon.”

Yes! I love to see that she is holding on to faith during challenging times. That’s what it takes. Believe God no matter what.

My intercessory prayer team and I are certainly praying and believing with my dear sister in Christ. We know that the same God who healed me can heal her—and anyone—of any ailment.

I’m reminded of the rhetorical question God asked in Jeremiah 32:27: “Is there anything too hard for Me?”

Though circumstances make things seem too hard sometimes, we know the answer. The Lord is all-powerful, and nothing can restrain Him. Furthermore, He will not allow anything to restrain you that gets in the way of His purpose being accomplished in your life.

In Luke 6:6-11, Jesus exemplified this truth perfectly during an encounter with the Pharisees. While in the synagogue on the Sabbath, the Savior singled out a man with a shriveled hand. Though the Pharisees, the religious elite, were angry that Jesus was working on the Sabbath, the Messiah was undeterred by their disapproving thoughts and actions.

“Come and stand here,” Jesus told the unnamed man, then said, “Stretch out your hand.”

When the man stretched forth his withered hand by faith, Jesus performed a miracle, instantly making him whole!

How’s that for making a point?

Simultaneously, Jesus broke through two restraints: the physical malady that was constricting the man’s hand and the legalistic formality that was restricting any work on the Sabbath—even life-changing ministry work. In one fell swoop, the chains of sickness and legalism were broken by the power of God and His amazing grace.

And today, that same power is working against whatever has been hindering you. In fact, God told me to prophesy over you that “the restraints are broken.”

You, my friend, are going from limited to liberated because the word of the Lord said so. So, I speak to every hindrance—natural and spiritual—that has been restricting you and command every chain to break.

As you receive this word, I perceive in the spirit, and I declare by the authority of Christ that God is setting you free for His glory. Believe that today!

To confirm what He said, I’m stirring this sweetener into your cup of inspiration: “Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” (2 Corinthians 3:17 NIV).

As you drink down the contents of your cup, by the supernatural power of the Holy Spirit, you are casting off restraints and stepping into freedom, breakthrough, and victory. Rejoice in your newfound liberty!

Now, pray this prayer.

God, there are areas where I have been held back and unable to break free into the greater destiny You have for me. But today, I receive Your word and profess by faith that the restraints are broken. I believe it deep in the core of my being. In Jesus’ name, it is so. Amen.

If you desire prayer, please allow me, along with my intercessory prayer team, to stand in faith with you for breakthrough. We would be so honored. We have seen God work over and over again. There is power in agreement. Click here to request prayer now.

As always, thanks for reading and until next time... may today's cup of inspiration uplift, encourage, and empower you!
