An Urgent Plea for Haiti
My heart is broken.
I am absolutely gutted as I bear witness to the dire suffering that envelops our Haitian brothers and sisters. The landscape of Haiti is marred by scenes of distress—families ravaged by unrelenting violence, children with sunken eyes from hunger, and a people grappling with the instability that has left them homeless and helpless.
Have you seen it? It's heart-wrenching.
Amidst this profound turmoil, more than one million Haitians stand on the cliff's edge of starvation—a tragedy of biblical proportions.
And the U.S. government is sending no support. Tragic.
I cannot silence the voice within me that God has stirred, compelling me to act, to mobilize, to extend His hand of mercy through our collective effort.
Empowering Everyday Women Ministries, the nonprofit I am graced by God and honored to lead, is heeding this divine call, working hand-in-hand with local faith communities and organizations in Haiti to distribute food across over a thousand locations. We have officially launched the "Help & Hope for Haiti" Initiative.

The United Nations World Food Programme warns that Haiti stands on the brink of a devastating hunger crisis, one that propels the security crisis devouring the nation.
Jean-Martin Bauer, the WFP's Country Director in Haiti, voices a stark reality: "Haitians are on the edge—every other person is now hungry. Rising hunger is fueling the security crisis that is shattering the country. We need urgent action now."

Heavenly Father, You have moved our hearts, urging us to extend a hand to our Haitian sisters and brothers in their hour of need. Bless those who heed Your call to give generously, and multiply their offerings, so that each gift may yield abundant relief beyond our capabilities. Lord, as You have promised, shower the donors with manifold blessings and a bountiful return for their kindness. We trust in Your enduring grace and the outpouring of favor that awaits those who act in Your love. From this day forward, may Your blessings unfold in their lives.
