Today is your day.

If you're living your life without knowing Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, today is your day! God loves you so much, He allowed you to drop by Your Daily Cup of Inspiration to introduce Himself to you, and offer you a renewed life full of love, joy, peace, and purpose. No matter who you are, where you're from, or what you've done, Jesus loves you just as you are. His greatest desire is for you to open your heart and let Him in.

We all have sinned.

No one is perfect. We have all made mistakes. And we all need God's grace.   The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23, "All of us have sinned and fallen short of God's holiness." Without His forgiveness, we are lost, but through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, if we accept Him, we will have eternal life. Romans 6:23 says,   "The result of unforgiven sin is death. But God's gift is eternal life given by Jesus Christ our Lord." 

There is only one Savior.

Just because we have fallen and made bad decisions in our lives, does not mean God despises us. No! He has offered up His only son, Jesus, as the only means of salvation. If you wish to be released from the grips of sin and bondage, there is only one savior, Christ the Lord. Acts 4:12 says, "Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

 

Ask Him to Enter Your Heart

Are you ready to open your heart to Jesus Christ today? If so, Romans 10:9-10 tells you how to accept Christ. "So you will be saved, if you honestly say, Jesus is Lord, and if you believe with all your heart that God raised Him from death. God will accept you and save you, if you truly believe this.

All you have to do is:

  • Admit that you are a sinner

  • Confess that Jesus Christ is the son of God

  • Believe that He died and rose again for your sin

  • Ask Christ to come into your heart

Ready to accept Christ?

Pray this prayer.

Dear Lord Jesus,

I know that I am a sinner and I am need of Your forgiveness today. Right now, I confess that You are Christ, the son of God. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose from the grave to give me new life. I believe that You are the only way to God. So now I want to surrender my whole life and live a life of obedience to You. Please forgive me, wash away my sin with your blood, turn my life around, and show me how to know You , and grow in Your love and grace more  every day. In Jesus' name. Amen.

 

Salvation is a free gift. It cannot be earned with perfection. It is given to those who ask for it in faith.
