Even This

“I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.” (Psalm 34:1)

Even this will not stop my praise.

As you may probably know by now—that is if you are connected to my ministry newsletter and social media platforms—my brother, Joseph, died due to complications from COVID-19 last week. It has been difficult for our family to process such a devastating blow.

Yet, as I stated in an earlier post, in all things, I trust God. Death, though painful for the ones left behind, is a natural part of life. We will all experience loss at some point, but we must never let it shake our confidence in the sovereignty and faithfulness of God. Amen?

Friend, God has been waking me up in the wee hours of the morning to commune with me and fill me up with His word. I am so grateful—especially during this time of intense grief and heartbreak for our family. During my time in God’s presence, surely, the Lord has been speaking. He’s been confirming His word, loading me up with encouragement for His people, and reminding me that He is yet faithful and working.

God is alive and well!

After my early morning devotion time today, among the posts that God led me to share openly online is a divine promise. He said, “I will cause all things—even this thing—to work out for your good.”

I wrote that on Facebook here.

What a powerful word from God, right?

It is one that I think we all can benefit from if we receive it by faith. Perhaps you, like me, are going through a tough season. If so, cling to the assurance that the Lord will do what only He can by causing even this—as ugly, intimidating, unfortunate, unpleasant, and difficult as it may be—to work out for your good!

God is going to cause the storm to benefit you. Even through this, God is going to bless you. Watch and see!
— Dianna Hobbs

Amazingly, I already see that promise manifesting in my life. This trial has drawn me that much closer to God. It has deepened my prayer life and allowed me to experience a new side of my faithful Father who walks through the dark valleys with us. I am resting in Him and the fullness of His joy and peace despite the storm. I am also encouraged to know without a doubt that the good work God has started in my life—and yours—is not finished.

Even this cannot cancel God’s good plans for you. He will continue blessing you, favoring you, making ways for you, giving you awesome breakthroughs, and answering prayer requests. Don’t let the storm shake your faith.

Even this cannot change the fact that great things are yet to come if you just hold on a little while, and remain faithful to God.

Philippians 1:6 ESV, which is what I’m stirring into your cup of inspiration, contains a powerful promise. It says, “And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”

As you drink down the contents of your cup, know that the good things God has started will be completed in your life. The storm can stop nothing that has been ordained by God. No breakthrough can be halted. No promise can be broken. No good thing can be withheld from those who walk upright (Psalm 84:11).

We know that God is a finisher by the words Jesus uttered on the cross before giving up His life to redeem mankind: “It is finished!” (John 19:28-30)

The Lord told me to tell you that the work is already done; just keep walking by faith toward manifestation. Not only that but know that there is a benefit in this storm.

God is saying, even this will produce something good in your life if you hold on.

Now, let’s pray.

God, thank You for reminding me that no matter how difficult or intimidating the storm is, You are faithful to cause all things to work for my good. I believe Your word and hold fast to Your promises even in this. I declare by faith that the work is complete, and I am confident that I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living, according to Psalm 27:13. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you desire prayer, please allow me, along with my intercessory prayer team, to stand in faith with you for breakthrough. We would be so honored. We have seen God work over and over again. There is power in agreement. Click here to request prayer now.

As always, thanks for reading and until next time... may today's cup of inspiration uplift, encourage, and empower you!
