Let’s be honest. Sometimes it just doesn't feel like God sees, hears, or even notices us at all.

I remember when I became seriously ill in 2016, something I’ve talked to you about many times before. Every day, my body was wracked with pain. I shuffled in and out of hospitals, yet no doctor could offer relief. Months passed without a diagnosis, and because no one knew what was wrong, they refused to give me any medication to ease my excruciating pain.

I cried. I prayed. I was confused. On some days, I felt completely neglected by God. I knew in my heart that He was with me, but when the pain grew so severe that I feared it would take my life, I wondered if the Lord had forsaken me. Each morning felt like "Groundhog Day"—a repetition of that shadowy, wintry pain that would never yield to spring’s warmth or blooming flowers.

But even then, God saw me. He knew that one day, in a prayer service, He would heal me and give me a powerful testimony of miraculous healing from Rheumatoid Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. While I was in the thick of it, I couldn't see His hand at work, but He was there all along.

I recently shard this testimony—and more—in a sit-down interview posted below.

Have you ever been in a season of life that felt like an endless winter? Perhaps you're in that place right now—stuck, feeling isolated, and convinced that God's eyes have passed over you. But you are never alone, and you are never overlooked. God sent me to remind you that the enemy’s lies—those that whisper you are forsaken—have no power. You are loved, valued, treasured, and precious in God’s sight. His plans for you are truly good. You are marked for divine favor.

A Warning from History

To confront the enemy's tactic of making you feel invisible, let’s look to a historical lesson that serves as both caution and encouragement.

The ancient Israelites once made a tragic error, thinking that God had abandoned them and no longer saw them. We read about this in Ezekiel 8–10, where we witness one of the most heartbreaking scenes in Scripture: the departure of God’s glory from the temple in Jerusalem. This was not an abrupt event. It happened after the people convinced themselves that God neither cared nor observed their actions.

Ironically, while they believed God couldn't see them, He saw everything. He witnessed their hidden idolatry, their secret acts of worship to false gods, and their turning away from Him. This is where we encounter El Roi—"the God who sees me" (Genesis 16:13). He not only notices our actions but also understands the intentions of our hearts.

When the Israelites stopped believing in God’s presence and care, they made three critical mistakes: they replaced sincere worship with empty rituals; they assumed their sins were hidden from God’s eyes; and they traded God’s presence for worthless idols. Yikes!

Because of these choices, God's glory departed—the temple lost its divine protection, blessing, and favor.

The Good News

Even then, however, in a day of divine reckoning, a faithful remnant remained—those who refused to bow to idols, who grieved over sin, and who stayed devoted to the Lord. In Ezekiel 9, these faithful ones were literally marked by God for favor and protection. Though destruction swept through the land, this remnant was sustained and preserved.

God wants you to know that He will do the same for you today. He sees your faithfulness, your sacrifices, and your needs. You have been marked for divine favor, blessings, victory, and protection by El Roi, the God who sees you in every distressing moment.

Every tear you’ve cried, every hardship you’ve endured for His name’s sake, and every act of obedience you’ve offered has not gone unnoticed. You are not insignificant. God is intimately involved in every detail of your life, and in time, He will reward your faithfulness. Keep going. Don’t give up. The world needs your light, and God wants to use you in ways you can’t yet imagine. A harvest with your name on it awaits. I’m a living testimony!

To remind you of this truth, I’m stirring a portion of Psalm 31:23 (NKJV) as the sweetener in your cup of inspiration: "Oh, love the LORD, all you His saints! For the LORD preserves the faithful."

As you drink down the contents of your cup, be assured that God sees you, has a good plan for you, and will never leave nor forsake you. He will be with you always, even until the end of the world. Remain faithful, and you will see His hand move on your behalf in due season. You are indeed marked for divine favor.
