Part of spiritual maturity is accepting the will of God in all things. It’s easy to enthusiastically say yes to the will of God and declare His greatness when things go our way. But God wants a yes and a praise when He takes us down a path we don’t prefer.

You might be face-to-face with obstacles that look insurmountable. But it’s not what it looks like. You won’t be defeated. You will not lose. You won’t be overtaken, for the Lord is on your side.

God sees you. He knows who you are, what you’re going through and what He has planned for you. It's amazing, too! Don’t fall for the deception of Satan. He wants to make you feel small, insignificant, overlooked and forgotten.

Get your level of expectancy up. Believe that God will move. Prepare for a shift! His way is not your way. You hoped He would have done it sooner. But it’s not too late for a turnaround. Things aren’t too far gone for a shift to happen.

It's tempting to try to take over the reins, do things your way, and feel more in control. But your purpose on earth is not to oversee all the details of the affairs of life. You are meant to trust God with the details and rest in Him.
