Your breakthrough is at hand
It is the one year anniversary of my healing, or, as I’m calling it my one-year Healed-iversary!
In honor of this celebratory day, please purchase my book God Did It: A True Story of Miraculous Healing, which contains all the unfiltered details.
I am grateful to God for His goodness, for His grace, and for how He healed me on this side of Heaven, when He didn’t have to do it.
He could have taken me on home to Glory, which would have been the ultimate healing. But He graciously afforded me the opportunity to have more time on earth with loved ones. You are counted among my loved ones.
Because He spared my life, I wake up daily trying to figure out, what I can do to honor God with this time He has given me. How can I serve Him better? How can I do more for His people? How can I use the gifts, resources, and immense blessings He has bestowed upon me to glorify His name that much more?
At the end of the day, bringing Him glory, is what matters most.
He healed me instantly and changed my life around; I didn’t know He was going to do it that way initially.
Today, the Lord put Acts 9 on my heart. It focuses on the moment Saul of Tarsus was converted and became a follower of Jesus Christ. God connected this biblical account to the manner in which He healed me, and the manner in which He is going to do something amazing for you, too.
Before Saul became the great Christian apostle we know as Paul, he was a Jew based in Rome, fiercely fighting against the mission of Christians. He was bound by the Old Testament law, but didn’t realize he was in bondage. After encountering Jesus on his way to Damascus, he saw a bright light from heaven. Saul fell off his animal and heard the voice of the Lord.
“I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting,” Christ spoke to him audibly.
After being introduced to Jesus through that supernatural encounter, when Saul opened his eyes, the Bible says he could no longer see in the physical. Yet, something had shifted: his spiritual eyes were opened for the first time.
God could have left Saul spiritually enlightened and naturally blind, because spiritual illumination is what matters most. But the Lord didn’t do that. God, who is merciful, after some days passed, sent a disciple named Ananias to the blind new convert Saul. When this obedient servant laid his hands on Saul, the former persecutor of the Church received the Holy Spirit.
How’s that for a turnaround?
In verse 18, Scriptures says, “Immediately, something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he could see again.”
This is what I want to get to. There was an immediate shift in Saul’s circumstances. That word scales in the Greek language is “lepis,” which signifies scales of a fish and also originates from the word “lepo,” meaning to peel. By the power of the Holy Spirit, something that, naturally speaking, would have needed to be peeled away in stages, just fell off.
How powerful is that?
Saul didn’t need a medical doctor or specialist to heal his eyes. He just needed a touch from God to do the job.
Are you ready for change? Get ready. It’s on the way. God is up to something great!
In my own life, I saw God skip all the steps in the process, and just rush in, and heal my body suddenly. It was a miracle indeed and He is still in the miracle-working business!
God is about to move on your behalf and shift circumstances in your favor. By faith, declare this: “The Lord is going to do it for me instantaneously.”
He is going to exceed your expectations, make you fruitful, maximize your potential and turn things around for you in a way that makes you say wow.
Saul’s scales immediately fell off. My sickness immediately went away. When your season arrives, God will immediately move for you. He will loose shackles, lift burdens, remove hindrances, heal disease, grant increase, open doors, and give you a breakthrough by the power of the Holy Ghost.
Where you are right now and what you’re currently facing may make it seem like there is no way God can alter your circumstances, but He can, and He will.
Your breakthrough is at hand.
Zechariah 4:6 NIV is your confirmation scripture today and it’s what I’m stirring into your cup of inspiration. It says, “‘…Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,' says the LORD Almighty.”
As you drink down the contents of your cup, expect your breakthrough immediately.
Anticipate a supernatural release and prepare yourself to see God do “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,” according to Ephesians 3:20.
Again, your breakthrough is at hand.
Now let’s pray.
God, thank You for Your supernatural power that is at work in my life. I don’t know exactly how You will move, but I am confident that You will, and You’ll do it suddenly! I praise You for fulfilling Your word and completing Your work in my life—not by my doing or anyone else's, but by Yours alone. I believe that You have ordained that I receive a breakthrough, and by faith I claim that it is mine. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
As always, thanks for reading and until next time... may today's cup of inspiration uplift, encourage, and empower you!
